Welcome from the Director of Admissions

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your children at the American Embassy School of New Delhi. The American Embassy School was established to serve the educational needs of American children and children of other nationalities whose parents are residing temporarily in India for the purpose of employment.

AES is a private, co-educational day-school located in the heart of the diplomatic community of New Delhi. We currently serve over 1,200 students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12, representing more than 50 nationalities. At the American Embassy School, we value and nurture our culturally diverse international school community. We encourage collaborative partnerships among our parents, teachers, students, and staff to maintain and strengthen the welcoming and caring environment that AES is renowned for.

The curriculum at AES follows a US college preparatory program similar to that of the best schools in the United States. We ensure that our students receive a quality American education through the use of best practices in curriculum, assessment, instruction and professional development.

Our distinguished faculty is comprised of experienced teachers recruited primarily from the United States, as well as from the expatriate and local communities in Delhi. Most of our faculty have Master's degress and 9 faculty members hold a PhD.
