Minimum Eligibility Requirements

Faculty:

Normally, the minimum qualifications required for faculty are:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably from a U.S. College/University, and
  •         Certification in teaching, preferably from the U.S., and
  • Three years successful teaching experience, preferably in an American or international PK-12 school

Teaching Assistants:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Teaching Diploma/Certificate (B.Ed.)
  • Experience in an American/International school

Non-Teaching Staff

  • Depending on the position;
  • Qualification and experience requirements are given in the job description

Position Title:           Administrative Assistant (Human Resources)

Starting date:     Immediate

Work hours:        8 hours per day

Workdays:           220 days

Salary Range:      Annual CTC: Rs. 600,000/- to Rs. 725,000/- (Grade-7 AES scale)

                             Annual Net Take Home: Rs.580,000 - Rs. 666,000/-   Benefits: PF, Gratuity, Bonus, Medical, Insurance, leave, etc. Salary commensurate with qualification and experience.

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Manager in a variety of human resource functions in the School by providing clerical and administrative support.

POSITION DUTIES:

  1. Recruitment (Overseas and local staff): Assist in recruitment process of overseas and local staff as well as exit procedures.
  2. Employee Service: Benefits administration (health and life insurance, and other benefits), attendance/leave, substitutes and stipends data processing
  3. Database: Prepare MIS reports using RDBMS software applications (FilemakerPro, Crystal Reports, etc.)
  4. Training: Coordinate logistics and prepare necessary materials;
  5. Perform other duties as assigned (keep track of job descriptions and performance appraisals).

 Qualifications / Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree, with Office Management skills
  • Experience: 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience, preferably in an international organization or diplomatic mission
  • Language: Proficient in oral and written English
  • Computer Skills: Extremely proficient in MS Excel and RDBMS applications; ability to export/important data from various types of applications;

Personal Qualities:

  • ability to interact effectively with students, staff and parent and international clientele;
  • strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail;
  • pro-active, ability to anticipate and organize and ability to work under pressure;
  • willingness to learn and ask

Position Title:            Sound Engineer

Starting date:       Immediate

Work hours:          8 hours per day

Workdays:             187 days (August to May)

Salary Range:        Annual CTC: Rs. 410,000/- to Rs. 470,000/-  (Grade-6 AES scale)

                               Annual Net Take Home: Rs. 377,000/- to Rs. 433,000/- Benefits: PF, Gratuity, Bonus, Medical, Insurance, leave, etc. Salary commensurate with qualification and experience.

Reporting to the Theater Manager, this position is primarily responsible for developing uniform aesthetic for sound reinforcement and recording for all theater events  and for the following:

1)     Live stage sound re-enforcement and recording set up for a variety of performances:  includes setting up stages, tearing down stages, knowledge and use of appropriate microphones and cables for live and recorded sound,

2)     Digital Sound boards, and analog mixers
- Knowledge of on-board DSP processing, making monitor mixes Live, riding faders, hi passing instruments and gaining headroom.

3)     Operation of  Digital Audio Workstation – Includes quick editing, color coding and programming

4)     Editing and mixing music live and recorded sound   

5)     Knowledge and use of  Reverbs and EQ, ProTools and/or Nuendo Recording Software

6)     Run the recording studio, including scheduling, recording and interacting with students wanting to learn the intricacies of recorded sound ; work with the music department to record student work  - IB Music / Amis Auditions -

7)     Theater productions, Weekly assemblies & special events – Provide necessary assistance by setting up projectors, trouble-shooting, VGA, DVI, HDMI, and Thunderbolt connections, etc.

8)     Work closely with various organizations and organizers of events (PSA / AWA / BOF / Fall Fiesta / India Week / MESAC) and coordinate with Facilities Department.

9)     Maintenance & Installation - Keep track of the equipment that needs to be repaired or needs service as well as overlook installation of equipment, as required. 

10)  Keep and execute an orderly calendar of school wide events involving sound recording

Requirements:

  • Degree/diploma in Sound Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience with live sound events and Audio Recording
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Willing to work on a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Equipment Used:

  • Recording Studio: Presonus Board and ProTools recording with range of microphones for multiple recording purposes.  Yamaha baby grand, variety of guitars and amps.
  • Main Theater: D&B audio system.  Mackie TT24 board, Digico SD 11 and Yamaha CL.
  • Portable sound: D&B, JBL, and Yamaha combinations.
