We build an applicant pool with a purpose of creating a most optimal inclusive learning environment for a diverse set of learners. We attract applicants who love AES’s caring community and who are inspired by our mission statement “The American Embassy School provides a balanced education defined by a joyful pursuit of excellence in academics, athletics, arts and service. We enable each student to be an inspired lifelong learner and a responsible, compassionate global citizen” and motto “Enter to Learn and Leave to Serve”.
In order to ensure the best possible learning experience for your child, we review applications on a case-by-case basis. To learn more about AES’ English as an Additional Language ( EAL ) or Learning Support ( for students who have an individualized learning plan ) programs, please contact our Admissions Director, Ylva Kovacs at email@example.com.
How it works:
Your child will enter our applicant pool once you submit the non-refundable application fee of USD 500 and all of the supporting documents (the application is valid for two years). We want to make the application process as straightforward as possible.
January and Rolling Admissions – We admit students for January in selected grades with available spaces. We continue to admit students on a rolling basis as spaces are available.
You may submit applications all year round.
The application timeline will vary depending on your assigned category lane and your application date (complete and paid application).
For Best Consideration for an August intake — apply between September 1st (or earlier) and February 1st. Applying after May 1st is considered a late application and spaces may be limited for certain category lane applicants.
Please work closely with the Admissions Team for guidance and advice.
Please see our Policies page for more information on Category Lane Applicants.
