We have started accepting applications for the 2017-18 school year, and will continue to accept applications throughout the school year and into the summer months on a rolling admissions basis.

It is the responsibility of the family to submit all documents required to complete the application process, including obtaining confidential recommendations from your child’s teacher at all times of the year.

Application Checklist

In order for a student to complete the application process and earn a position in the wait pool or be offered admission, the following documents and required payments must be submitted:

Advance Deposit

A US$2000 advance deposit is required of all students applying for January 2018 admission by November 1, 2017. This deposit is required to enter the wait pool or be enrolled. The advance deposit is required of all students applying for August 2018 admission by April 1, 2018.

Prior to the first day of classes

AES Physical Examination Form

This form must be completed by a licensed medical practitioner within 3 months of the anticipated starting date and submitted prior to the first day of classes.

The school reserves the right to reconsider an offer of admission if undisclosed information becomes apparent.

All decisions will be made in accordance with AES Board Policy.

Submitting Required Documents

Admissions at AES is on a rolling basis. The sooner the application process is fully completed, the better the chance for admission for non-American applicants. Because there is an extensive wait pool in most grade levels, a back-up plan will be essential for non-US families.

All documents may be sent by scan/email to admissions@aes.ac.in.  In addition, once all of the details are organized, please put them into one packet and send it by DHL /FedEx /UPS or other reliable international courier.  It is important to note that the Admissions Office is not part of the diplomatic pouch loop.  Please send documents via email, courier or certified postal service.

It will be important to have all of the details organized and sent to the Admissions Office as soon as possible, and we would encourage applicants to send everything at one time rather than piecemeal. Items that are overlooked or are sent incomplete will further delay the admissions process. Decisions on accepting students and allocating seats / placing applicants on the wait list are not made until all documents have been received and approved.

 

Applicants with Special Learning Needs

In case of any academic or behavioral concerns or special needs, the application will be taken to the Admissions Review Committee in the appropriate division prior to making an admissions decision. For those applicants with special learning needs, applications must be complete by May 1, 2016 for August 2016 admission. The AES Admissions Review Committee may request additional reports or evaluations on special learning needs. If applications are not complete by the May 1st deadline, admissions decisions may be delayed.
