It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I serve the AES community as the IB/AP Coordinator in the high school. As these are both highly respected academic programs, I am looking forward to supporting AES students, parents and faculty in their IB/AP endeavors. I also teach HL Math, so I will balance both teaching and adminsitrative responsibilities this year, my fifth at AES.

Prior to living in India, my family lived in the U.S. for 5 years. Before that we were in Kenya (where both my children were born), and before that in Ecuador where we cut our international teaching teeth. We love to travel - 4 posts in 4 continents has been an extraordinary experience.

As for my professional background, I've been teaching IB coursework, both SL and HL levels, for my entire career of 17 years. I also work as an examiner for the IB where I am honored to be a part of the team of professionals who create and mark the SL Math exams. Through the years, I've gained extraordinary insight into IB philosophy and pedagogy, and I am continually impressed with how the student is at the center of their mission.
