MS Play – Fright World – Oct 22nd and 23rd

For years, Fright World has been the most popular Halloween attraction in town.  Run by Pops Johnson, its spooky rooms, terrifying scares, and creepy monsters from around the globe have thrilled all visitors.  But after Pops’ sudden death, the haunt’s future is in question.  According to Pops’ will, his timid and fearful son Ethan inherits the house.  But Ethan must raise enough money to pay the annual taxes on the property to save it from the clutches of his father’s money-grubbing lawyer, Ms. Brown.  Join Ethan, the MS dance crew, the Crypt Kicker Five band, and the monsters of Fright World – Voodoo Doll, Dimitri and Brains the zombies, Dracula, Witch, Dokkebi, Ravan, Esquelito, Gonzalo Nunez, Creepy Kid, the Grim Reaper, Little Ghoul and Spider – for this epic adventure of frightful proportions!

We are very proud to note that over 110 students have been involved in this production as script writers; costume, makeup, and poster designers; lights, sound, stage, and house crews; and of course as actors and dancers.

Be sure to get your tickets for Fright World from Alka at the main reception desk or from our Fright World ticket sellers who will be at the ES plaza after school.  Tickets are 150 rupees, and the shows will be on Thursday, October 22 at 5:00 pm and Friday, October 23 at 7:00 pm.

(For parents: “How Scary is Fright World?”  The basic story of Fright World is appropriate for all ages.  However, there are several scenes that have situations that some children might find frightening.  The scary parts of Fright World are mostly surprising-scary (ex: characters jumping out unexpectedly) rather than violent-scary.  In addition, some children may find the sets, costumes, or makeup scary.  Fright World features creepy looking zombies and goblins and our makeup artists are extremely talented.)
