The AES Elementary School Library houses over 30,000 titles available to AES students, families and teachers. We aim to promote literacy, the enjoyment of reading, and to provide curriculum support.

The library is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Mondays to Fridays and from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm on Saturdays.

Students are invited to drop in before school, during recess, or, with their teacher's permission, during the school day, to borrow books.  Students in grades KG-5 visit the library each six-day rotation for 30 minutes of read-aloud, book talks, introductory library skills lessons, and book checkout. Depending on their grade level, students may borrow up to four books at a time.

Parents can borrow up to five books at a time. ECEC parents can borrow four books for each of their children in the ECEC program. The loan period for parents and students is 14 days. If you can't come to visit our campus, just let us know what you need and we'll send it home with your child.
