In this course you will learn to prepare clay and to create a small mural or sculpture through easy step by step guidance, you will be given the freedom to create and Express on any subject of your liking. This course is specially designed for those art lovers who have never dared to touch the clay and is equally good for those who have previously indulged in it. It’s a great opportunity to learn, explore and create under an able guidance of a reputed sculptor and by the end of this course get to complete one mural/sculpture work in clay.(this work can be casted in fiber glass or bronze on the extra actual casting costs if desired )
Seela Chamariya instructor, a renowned sculptor, who believes in creating her own work and is also very passionate about sharing her knowledge by regularly conducting sculpture classes and workshops at Academy of fine arts and literature and in various school colleges like St Stephens, Hindu college and various art galleries and at her own studio.She offers sculpture/clay modeling regular classes at her studio and at Academy of fine arts and literature.
Sheela has been teaching clay modelling and sculpting at her studio at Mahendru Enclave for more than 20 years. Starting from the very basics of clay preparation, to creating features and concepts, she takes the students into a journey of experiencing sheer transformation of ideas. She explains – “It’s not just a form of art, it’s a creative urge, which I think every individual has. Clay modelling helps to freshen the mind. It’s a kind of meditation, a very therapeutic thing.”
